Job Description
Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers is a renowned fast-food restaurant chain famous for serving the most craveable chicken finger meals, which they fondly refer to as their 'One Love.' Known for their exceptional Crew and a vibrant, cool Culture, Raising Cane's fosters a Work Hard. Have Fun. philosophy among its team members. As the fastest-growing chicken concept, Raising Cane's is on track to secure a position as a Top 10 Restaurant Brand in the United States, which highlights its rapid expansion and enduring success. The company values every Crewmember's contribution and considers them essential to meeting its growth and service goals. Raising Cane's prides itself on providing a dynamic and supportive work environment where employees can thrive and enjoy their duties while contributing to the overall success of the restaurant.
The company is currently hiring for the position of Operations Manager (OM), a pivotal role responsible for supporting the Restaurant Leader in driving operational excellence. This position upholds Raising Cane's standards and culture across all areas of restaurant operations, ensuring that each location maintains the highest levels of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. The Operations Manager acts as the manager on duty, overseeing critical functions such as opening and closing the restaurant, managing cash handling with strict accountability, enforcing company policies, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the facility. This role is not only managerial but hands-on, requiring the OM to deploy crewmembers effectively during shifts and exemplify outstanding customer service. Additionally, the OM authorizes employee functions requiring managerial approval, including discounts, promotions, and timeclock overrides, underscoring the trust and responsibility placed on this position.
Raising Cane's offers a competitive starting pay range of $25 to $27 per hour, which varies based on location, experience, and other factors. Alongside a rewarding salary, the company provides an extensive benefits package for full-time Restaurant Managers, including medical, dental, vision, and pharmacy benefits. They also offer dependent care and healthcare flexible spending accounts, company-provided life and disability insurance, hospital indemnity, accident and critical illness coverage, and a 401(k) plan with employer match for employees aged 21 and older. To further support employee well-being and growth, Raising Cane's provides access to financial advisors for budgeting and retirement planning, a One Pass Gym Membership Program, tuition reimbursement, a crewmember assistance program, and pet insurance. Their perks also consist of weekly pay, competitive pay plus monthly bonuses, paid time off and sick time, eight paid holidays annually, early closures for company events, casual work attire, and exclusive employee discount programs through Perkspot.
This job aligns with a candidate who is energetic, organized, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. The Operations Manager must handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, kneeling, twisting, and moving swiftly throughout the restaurant. Safety is paramount, as the role involves working near hot cooking equipment and various cleaning supplies while maintaining a clean, safe environment consistent with food safety standards. Driving for work-related purposes occasionally is required, especially when company leaders are on leave or roles are vacant. The ideal candidate is self-driven, detail-oriented, and possesses strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills to efficiently solve problems and guide their team.
At Raising Cane's, team members are more than employees; they are part of a rapidly growing and dedicated family focused on delivering exceptional food and service. This opportunity for an Operations Manager offers not only a career path but a chance to be part of an energetic brand setting new standards in the fast-casual dining industry. Join Raising Cane's to raise the bar higher and contribute to a flourishing restaurant culture where hard work and fun go hand in hand.
