This management role supports the successful execution of operations across multiple hotel departments, including Front Office, Business Center, Recreation/Health Club, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage/Culinary, and Engineering/Maintenance. As a key member of the hotel management team, this role is responsible for ensuring that operational standards and procedures are rigorously maintained. They play a crucial role in translating organizational goals into clear, actionable objectives for their teams, focusing on productivity and guest tracking. This role involves understanding employee and guest satisfaction metrics and formulating strategic game plans that address areas needing improvement while building on existing strengths.
The management position includes overseeing the comprehensive guest experience by maintaining a proactive approach to customer service. The manager must be readily available and approachable to handle guest concerns promptly and professionally while ensuring that all team members consistently meet or exceed hospitality standards. This role also supports property operations by implementing specific recovery plans, publishing guest satisfaction results in a timely manner, and handling employee communications effectively.
Financial acumen is an important aspect of this management position. The manager assists in annual quality audits alongside the General Manager and Regional Director and ensures the effectiveness of key control programs. They are expected to have a thorough understanding of financial statements, sales data, and operational performance reports to contribute to profitability and budget management.
Human resources responsibilities are integral to this role, including conducting interviews, making hiring recommendations, and ensuring that new team members receive comprehensive orientation and training. The manager supports semiannual one-on-one staff meetings to align personal development with organizational goals.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Four years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping or related professional area
- OR two-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major with two years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping or related professional area
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Job Qualifications
