The role of Operations Manager is pivotal in sustaining the seamless daily function of the hotel and venue operations. This manager will oversee coordination between various departments including guestrooms, themed accommodations, bar services, outdoor event spaces, and live entertainment programming to ensure each element aligns with the property's distinct brand identity. This position reports directly to the Area General Manager and involves close collaboration with department leaders and entertainment partners.

The Operations Manager is expected to be a hands-on leader active in both routine and peak operation times, especially during high-profile events and weekends. Responsibilities include ensuring staffing readiness, smooth service flow, exceptional guest experiences, safety compliance, and operational consistency. Beyond management of logistics and personnel, this role supports the creative and experiential aspects of programming by working with artists, vendors, and internal teams.

Success in the position requires a candidate comfortable in fast-paced, social environments where hospitality meets entertainment. The individual will execute labor and payroll management while overseeing budget and revenue optimization efforts. The role also calls for leadership in coaching and developing staff, maintaining strong communication across shifts, managing guest relations, and upholding safety and service standards. Job Requirements

  • a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management business administration or related field preferred
  • minimum of 5 years experience in hotel or entertainment venue operations management
  • proven leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams
  • strong knowledge of labor laws and scheduling software
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
  • experience with budgeting forecasting and financial management
  • familiarity with safety standards and alcohol service regulations
  • proficiency in event production and live entertainment coordination considered a plus

Job Duties

  • support all hotel and outdoor venue operations ensuring seamless coordination between themed guestrooms bar service event spaces and live entertainment programming
  • oversee daily execution of both hospitality and event operations including setup service flow staffing and breakdown
  • help ensure the outdoor venue reflects and extends the playful whimsical energy of the hotel’s themed room experience
  • assist in managing labor scheduling payroll and staffing efficiency across hotel and venue teams
  • support booking coordination scheduling and execution of live music and entertainment programming
  • work with artists vendors and event partners to ensure smooth and engaging guest experiences
  • maintain high standards of guest service across both hotel stays and event attendance experiences
  • support budgeting forecasting expense management and revenue optimization across all operations
  • lead coach and develop team members across hospitality and event service roles
  • maintain a strong on-the-floor presence during events weekends and peak programming periods
  • ensure compliance with safety standards alcohol service regulations and operational procedures across all spaces
  • collaborate with department leaders to ensure consistent communication and execution across all shifts
  • address guest concerns and service recovery situations with professionalism warmth and urgency
