The Operations Manager plays a vital role in overseeing janitorial operations across the branch's accounts with a focus on maximizing resources and achieving goals related to customer satisfaction, productivity, schedule adherence, and fiscal responsibility. This is a full-time, salaried position with an annual pay range between $63,000 and $65,000, requiring flexibility in work hours to meet the demands of the role.
The ideal candidate for this role is a hands-on leader with a 'boots on the ground' attitude, actively engaged with the team and daily operations. They will manage both day and night staff, ensuring operational efficiency and high performance through regular site visits. This position demands strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and support team members effectively. Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- must provide proof of U.S. citizenship or permanent residency
- must provide proof of work authorization and complete an I-9 and E-Verify process
- must complete pre-employment background check
- must complete pre-employment motor vehicle record check
- ability to walk for extended periods across multiple job sites
- ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs

Job Qualifications
- 3-5 years of related experience in a leadership or management position
- 2 years of operations experience
- associates degree or bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field preferred
- client/vendor management experience
- managing budgets and inventory management experience preferred
- bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
- strong customer service orientation
- experience using Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
- open availability including readiness for overtime, schedule adjustments, and holiday work
Job Duties
- Support and lead janitorial teams across the region, ensuring effective scheduling and real-time resource utilization that respects employees’ time and strengths
- collaborate with team leaders to assess the appropriate balance of part-time, full-time, and flexible staffing to meet operational needs and support work-life balance
- monitor team hours to ensure alignment with budget guidelines while promoting fairness and efficiency
- serve as a hands-on leader by operating and training team members in the safe use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and machinery
- foster open, two-way communication with Managers, Supervisors, and frontline staff to ensure transparency, trust, and shared accountability
- work closely with Regional Leaders to align staffing with demand, provide insights on local conditions, and adapt to changes in real time
- directly manage and support frontline employees, ensuring they are equipped to succeed and feel valued in their roles
