Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
proven track record of at least 5 years managing in a similar role
experience leading teams of 10 or more employees
ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
strong decision-making skills
flexibility to work varied schedules including events and outside typical business hours
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
reliable and committed work ethic

Job Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years continuous managerial experience
experience supervising teams of 10 or more people
strong leadership and team-building skills
excellent problem-solving abilities
ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
understanding of quality assurance principles
strong interpersonal and communication skills

Job Duties

Represent the Block by Block culture and mission
coordinate recruitment, selection of candidates, onboarding and training of all new Ambassadors
continually adjust deployment of resources to meet daily changing needs
identify and solve problems to improve program quality
manage procurement and inventory of supplies and equipment
report outcomes through various reporting channels including app-based systems, spreadsheets, Kronos timekeeping, and budgets
provide hands-on working management in the field to coach, mentor, and train staff on standard policies and procedures
