Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food and beverage or retail environment preferred
  • Ability to uphold Starbucks' culture and values
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Leadership experience or potential
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Duties

  • Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of Starbucks
  • Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the team
  • Anticipate customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues and communicate information to manager so that the team can respond as necessary
  • Assist with new partner training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed
  • Provide feedback to operations manager
  • Contribute to positive team environment
  • Deliver legendary service to all customers
  • Develop positive and professional working relationships with partners
  • Execute operational assignments during scheduled shifts
  • Follow Starbucks Reserve operational policies and procedures including cash handling, health, safety and security
  • Manage service of alcohol according to all state and federal laws and regulations, as well as company and brand policies and standards
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Storytell and communicate the Starbucks Reserve Kitchen brand, food and culture
