The role of Operations Associate, Barista at Gopuff is an exciting blend of operational excellence and food and beverage preparation. This position is essential in guaranteeing that customers receive accurate and high-quality Starbucks beverages and food items along with their delivery orders. The Operations Associate, Barista will be responsible for crafting Starbucks beverages by following detailed recipes and presentation standards, ensuring that each drink meets the quality expectations that Starbucks and Gopuff customers have come to expect. Alongside beverage preparation, this role involves managing inventory by receiving, unpacking, and replenishing products, confirming inventory accuracy, and addressing any discrepancies to maintain seamless stock levels.

In this role, no two days are the same, emphasizing a dynamic work environment where flexibility and adaptability are paramount. Associates will be picking, packing, and staging customer orders efficiently to meet quick delivery demands. Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen, cafe, and overall facility is also a vital part of the role. Safety and compliance are foundational to this position. Associates will complete required Starbucks training and uphold both Gopuff’s and Starbucks’ safety, sanitation, and compliance standards. Handling temperature-sensitive items correctly and attentively managing waste and spoilage through FIFO (First In, First Out) practices are also key responsibilities. The Operations Associate will operate equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and dollies safely to move product as needed.
