The Operating Room Supervisor role at Baylor Scott & White Surgicare - North Garland is a pivotal leadership position within the surgical team. This role is aimed at registered nurses who bring extensive operating room experience and leadership skills to oversee daily surgical operations. The supervisor ensures a smooth flow of surgical cases by coordinating with physicians, nursing staff, and materials management. Responsibilities include scheduling, staff supervision, conducting monthly staff meetings, coordinating inventory, and facilitating educational opportunities within the OR. This role also plays a key part in the hiring and orientation of new OR staff members alongside the Clinical Director, contributing significantly to the department's overall performance and patient care quality.

This full-time supervisory position demands a high degree of communication ability, clinical proficiency, and organizational skills. The center values experienced candidates who hold a current registered nurse license with BLS and ACLS certifications, along with at least three years of OR experience. While a baccalaureate degree is preferred, relevant work experience is strongly considered.
