Job Requirements
- Master degree in nursing or physician assistant studies
- Valid NC RN and Nurse Midwife or Nurse Practitioner license or NC Physician Assistant license
- Board certified or eligible within one year of hire
- Current BLS certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Protocol certification for neonatal advanced practice providers
- Behavioral health advance practice provider certification within 90 days of employment for applicable roles
- Open to new graduates
- Preferred experience of 3 or more years
Job Qualifications
- Master degree in nursing or physician assistant studies
- Board certification within one year of hire
- Valid North Carolina RN and Nurse Midwife or Nurse Practitioner license or NC Physician Assistant license
- Current BLS certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Protocol certification for neonatal providers
- Behavioral Health Advance Practice Provider certification within 90 days of employment when applicable
Job Duties
- Performs physical assessments of the patient
- Reviews patient medical history
- Interprets diagnostic tests and results
- Conducts preventive health screenings
- Educates patients and families about specialty care conditions and treatment
- Maintains accurate patient care records
- Performs specialty care medical procedures per departmental guidelines
- Identifies and addresses clinical and system issues to improve specialty care
- Performs other duties as assigned
