Job Description

Landing is a leading flexible living network established in 2019 that has rapidly expanded to cover over 35 markets nationwide, offering thousands of apartment units with no deposits and minimal hassle for tenants. As an innovative company, Landing has positioned itself at the forefront of the hospitality industry by providing flexible living solutions that cater to the modern traveler and resident. The company’s model combines the convenience and amenities of hotel living with the comfort and privacy of home environments, all managed through a seamless digital platform. This dynamic approach enables Landing to maintain a vast portfolio of properties while delivering exceptional customer experiences across a wide demographic, making it a recognized brand in the evolving flexible living space.

The role available is a unique Property Owner position based in the vibrant Nashville, TN market where you will be directly responsible for managing a portfolio of at least 30 units. This hands-on role requires a strong capability in overseeing all facets of property and member management, including relationships with housekeeping vendors, maintenance operations, and ensuring unit quality meets high standards. As a crucial point of contact, you will manage reservations that are made directly through Landing’s platform as well as through online travel agency partners like Airbnb and Booking.com. The role demands vigilance and responsiveness in resolving member inquiries, complaints, and escalations across multiple communication channels to enhance guest experience.

Living onsite is a key feature of this position, allowing you to be deeply embedded within the property environment, fostering close connections with guests and property partners while ensuring rapid response to any issues. Candidates with experience in hotel management, short-term rental operations, or high-volume hospitality services will find this role familiar yet innovative, as it offers the challenge of shaping and refining operational playbooks in a fast-moving, growth-stage setting. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic conditions, demonstrates resourcefulness in decision-making with incomplete information, and exhibits a proactive approach to system development and implementation.

Key responsibilities include managing reservations across both direct and OTA platforms, ensuring excellent member interactions throughout the booking lifecycle, maintaining strong partnerships with housekeeping and property vendors, and overseeing critical market performance indicators such as Net Promoter Score (NPS), Customer Satisfaction (CSAT), and cleaning quality. You will also coordinate maintenance and unit turnover activities, including onboarding, installation, and deinstallation of units. Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize urgent tasks under pressure, and comfort with ambiguity inherent in a rapidly growing startup environment.

The work schedule is highly flexible and requires availability beyond typical office hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to accommodate guest needs and operational demands. Landing offers competitive compensation with a base salary ranging from $50,000 to $55,000 depending on experience, alongside a performance bonus up to 25% of the base salary. Benefits include stock options, comprehensive medical (including dental and vision), life insurance, disability coverage, mental health support, pet and commuter benefits, and flexible spending account choices. Retirement planning support is available through a 401(k) plan and access to ImmediatePay, coupled with generous paid time off and an annual $750 travel perk in Landing Stays.

Landing is committed to diversity and inclusion and welcomes applications from all qualified candidates irrespective of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, military service, or any other protected status under federal, state, or local law.
