This role is for an Onsite Event Manager based in New York City, working primarily at client sites located in the Rockefeller Center and Times Square areas. As an integral member of The Collective, a creative and strategic team within BCD M&E, the Event Manager will lead the planning, execution, and management of complex and high-profile events including meetings, conferences, and incentive travel programs. The candidate will be responsible for optimizing event project management processes, developing innovative design strategies, and embracing cutting-edge event technologies to deliver seamless virtual, hybrid, and in-person experiences. This position requires a hands-on leader who builds quick trust and confidence with clients and team members, inspiring peers and fostering collaboration across multiple stakeholders. The role demands adaptability, a strategic mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where client needs continuously evolve.
The Onsite Event Manager position entails up to 30 percent travel commitment, reflecting the dynamic and global nature of the company’s client base and events portfolio. Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in event management or related field
- minimum 5 years of experience in event or project management
- proficiency in event technology platforms
- ability to lead and inspire teams
- effective communication skills

- willingness to work onsite 4 to 5 days per week at client’s office in NYC Rockefeller Center / Times Square area
