The Onsite Engagement Manager role at FlexTrades is a pivotal position designed for experienced professionals who excel in project support and operational management in a client-facing capacity. This role primarily involves travelling to client sites, typically overseeing projects lasting between 6 to 9 months. The Onsite Engagement Manager works directly with up to 75 technicians per client, ensuring high-quality communication flows, quality execution of operational tasks, and milestone tracking throughout the project. This individual functions as a key liaison between Technicians, Clients, and Internal Partners to maintain and grow business relationships successfully. Responsibilities include proactive engagement with both clients and technicians through various communication channels such as in-person meetings, camera-on video calls, phone calls, texts, and emails on a regular schedule.

In this capacity, the manager helps secure success by managing technician arrivals, facilitating issue resolution, maintaining attendance and timekeeping, and enforcing company policies and safety standards. The role demands a professional and enthusiastic demeanor, strong documentation skills, and the ability to handle dynamic tasks promptly. FlexTrades supports this position with lodging during assignments, reimbursed travel time, guaranteed overtime pay, and the use of company-provided equipment. Job Duties

  • Support up to 75 technicians for one client
  • Proactively communicate with technicians and clients to ensure a balanced and successful assignment including weekly or bi-weekly check-ins
  • Meet minimum communication requirements including onsite daily presence and scheduled check-ins
  • Contribute to project success and growth by improving assignment success rates and increasing satisfaction
  • Manage new technician arrivals
  • Work with the Technician Care team and address hotel-related issues
  • Maintain an enthusiastic and engaged attitude in meetings and collaboration
  • Weekly timekeeping and attendance management
  • Complete operational functions following FlexTrades procedures and policies
  • Ensure technicians meet client performance expectations
  • Handle disciplinary measures related to performance and policy violations
  • Educate and enforce policies and professional expectations
  • Uncover new client opportunities by building strong relationships
  • Document all activity meticulously using ATS and required tools
  • Collaborate with safety team to ensure safe practices
  • Assist with onsite injury handling and communication
  • Solve problems through interdepartmental collaboration
  • Adapt quickly to high priority tasks and projects
  • Maintain professional demeanor in all communications
  • Participate in monthly professional development training
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
