Job Description

Vituity is a 100% physician-owned partnership providing healthcare services across multiple specialties and locations in the United States. Known for its physician-centric ownership model, Vituity gives physicians autonomy, local control, and the benefits of a national support system, allowing them to prioritize patient care effectively. The company emphasizes a culture of collaboration and shared success, branded as a "culture of brilliance," where team accomplishments and mutual support are valued above individual achievements. At Vituity, physicians are not only clinicians but also equal partners in the company, receiving financial transparency, profit participation, and multiple opportunities for career growth and leadership development. This model fosters a supportive work environment backed by a nationwide network of approximately 9,000 clinicians, enabling physicians to make significant impacts in their communities while benefiting from best-in-class corporate healthcare infrastructure.

This opportunity is specifically for OBGYN physicians interested in joining the Vituity team in Fort Collins, Colorado, located about one hour north of Denver. The position offers a competitive compensation package with an estimated annual salary exceeding $350,000, depending on schedule and experience. The role primarily involves clinical work in one of two clinics and surgical centers in the Fort Collins and Loveland areas, both equipped with advanced technologies including DaVinci robotic surgical systems. The practice focuses on obstetrics and gynecology with responsibilities including clinic days, in-house labor and delivery (L&D) call, and gynecological surgeries. Night and weekend call duties are minimal due to support from an OB hospitalist program during these times, promoting a balanced and manageable workload.

Vituity’s collaboration with Banner Fort Collins Medical Center enhances the role by providing a state-of-the-art clinical environment. Banner Fort Collins Medical Center is a 29-bed licensed hospital known for its quality obstetric care, advanced monitoring technologies, and specialty support staff such as pediatrics, anesthesiology, surgery, intensive care unit (ICU), labor and delivery nurses, certified nurse midwives, advanced providers, and maternal-fetal medicine specialists. The hospital boasts numerous awards and recognitions, including a CMS 4-star patient survey rating, Leapfrog 'A' grade, recognition as a "Birthing-Friendly" facility by CMS, and the 2023 Colorado Celebrate 6 Award of Breastfeeding Excellence. With approximately 550 deliveries per year at this facility, physicians enjoy a supportive and high-quality clinical setting.

Fort Collins itself is an attractive location for healthcare professionals and their families. With a population of about 171,000 and serving as the hub of Larimer County, which includes over 375,000 residents, the city offers a stable demand for primary care, specialty, and women’s health services. The community is young and dynamic, with a median age near 31 years and a large proportion of residents aged 18-64. Fort Collins provides excellent quality of life through its vibrant college-town atmosphere, top-rated schools, strong community spirit, and health-conscious residents. The location is ideal for those looking to establish long-term roots, offering outstanding outdoor recreational opportunities such as hiking, biking, skiing, trail running, and fly-fishing along the beautiful Colorado Front Range.

Furthermore, Fort Collins combines small-city livability with proximity to major urban centers like Denver and Boulder, all while avoiding the congestion associated with big cities. The city supports a lively cultural and arts scene, including local breweries, music events, and festivals, consistently ranking it among the best places to live. Compensation is competitive relative to coastal markets, and the region offers affordable housing, making it possible to balance professional growth with personal enrichment and an active lifestyle.

The benefits offered by Vituity underline their commitment to the whole physician, providing superior health insurance options, dental and vision coverage, health savings accounts, life insurance, and accident coverage. Physicians enjoy a partnership model that allows for a favorable K-1 tax status, an extraordinary 401(k) plan, annual profit distributions, employee assistance programs, travel assistance, and student loan refinancing discounts. The company promotes a purpose-driven culture focused on improving lives across patients, communities, and employees. This OBGYN physician role presents a unique chance to practice medicine within a collaborative, well-supported, and thriving healthcare network while enjoying the many professional and lifestyle benefits that Fort Collins and Vituity offer.
