The Nurse Manager position at Redlands Community Hospital is a critical leadership role within the Telemetry Unit, responsible for overseeing specialty nursing services that ensure high-quality care in a complex and fast-paced clinical environment. This full-time role offers an attractive salary range between $136,697.60 and $198,203.20 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Reporting directly to the Telemetry Director, the Nurse Manager provides 24-hour accountability for coordinating nursing care delivery, maintaining patient care standards, and adhering to hospital policies and regulatory guidelines.

The Nurse Manager leads the Telemetry Unit by managing nursing personnel assignments tailored to the skillsets, experience, and temperament of staff, alongside the acuity of patients, thereby fostering an efficient and safe environment for care delivery. This role demands strong leadership and clinical expertise, enabling the Nurse Manager to not only coordinate individual patient care but also oversee care delivery for multiple patients simultaneously. Effective collaboration with other healthcare professionals and unit leaders is essential to ensure seamless, safe, and effective patient care.

Beyond direct care coordination, the Nurse Manager supports special projects aimed at enhancing processes and achieving excellence in healthcare delivery. Job Requirements

  • BSN required
  • Three to five years of relevant telemetry nursing experience preferred
  • Current CA State RN license required
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Current ACLS certification required
  • NIHSS certification to be obtained within six months of hire
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the job
  • Basic computer skills including Word, Excel, and email
  • Completion of MAB on first day of work

Job Qualifications

  • BSN required
  • MSN desired
  • Three to five years of relevant experience in telemetry or specialized nursing preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership and clinical expertise
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications including Word, Excel, and email
  • Membership in professional specialty organization preferred
  • Current CA State RN license
  • Current CPR certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • NIHSS certification required within six months of hire
  • Critical Care or Nurse Manager certification preferred
  • Completion of MAB on first day of work
