Job Description
2 Surgical is a specialized 17-bed Surgical Acute Care floor known for its focus on bariatric, neurological, orthopedic, and gender care patient surgeries. This unit prides itself on delivering comprehensive and compassionate care tailored to patients undergoing various complex surgical procedures. Alongside, 7 Surgical is a 26-bed General Surgical/Medical floor that serves as both a hub for general surgery patients and an overflow unit from the sister 2 Surgical floor. These floors operate together to ensure continuity of care and a seamless surgical patient experience. They are recognized for their commitment to innovative treatment modalities, patient-centered care, and fostering a professional healthcare environment.

This role entails leading the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing processes to enhance the patient care experience. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- 3+ years progressive clinical and management experience
- registered nurse (RN), Ohio and/or multi state compact license
- basic life support (BLS) certification
- certification in clinical or leadership specialty within 1 year
- ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with PHI regulations
- strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- capacity to handle high-pressure environments
- proficiency with relevant technologies and software
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Master's degree in nursing or relevant field preferred
- 3+ years progressive clinical and management experience
- demonstrates skills in human relations, and material resource management
- evidence of ability to provide exceptional nursing leadership
- demonstrates the ability to facilitate change, excellent communication and organizational skills
- demonstrates a professional demeanor when responding to patients/customers
- able to handle high-pressure situations
- knowledge of current technology and equipment to meet patient and employee needs
