Job Description

Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers is an exciting and rapidly expanding restaurant brand known for serving craveable chicken finger meals, a concept they proudly call their One Love. As one of the fastest-growing chicken restaurant chains in the United States, Raising Cane's is on a mission to become a Top 10 Restaurant Brand nationally. Their success is rooted in a culture that values great teamwork and an enjoyable working environment, encapsulated in their Work Hard. Have Fun. philosophy. This vibrant environment supports rapid growth and enduring success, making each team member a significant contributor to the company’s journey and momentum.

The opportunity offered at Raising Cane's is for the position of Growth Assistant Restaurant Leader. This full-time role comes with a competitive base salary ranging from $65,000 to $77,500, depending on the specific location, experience level, and qualifications of the candidate. Beyond the base pay, this role is eligible for the Restaurant Monthly Incentive Program, which means total target cash compensation could range from $92,696 to $105,196, combining the base salary and estimated incentive payouts. Incentives are performance-based and linked to restaurant profitability and meeting eligibility criteria.

The key responsibility of the Growth Assistant Restaurant Leader involves supporting the overall operations and growth of new restaurant openings as well as existing stores. This role is instrumental in leading the training team, supervising the development of trainers, and providing hands-on leadership to hourly restaurant managers and assistant restaurant leaders who are in training or deployment phases. The successful candidate is expected to manage daily operations to uphold Raising Cane's operational standards, safety protocols, and established culture. In addition, this role involves organizing new restaurant setup and ensuring that all operational facets are executed accurately and efficiently.

Working in this role means engaging in a fast-paced, dynamic kitchen environment requiring physical endurance such as standing, walking, lifting, and bending for extended periods. The environment involves interacting with both customers and food, requiring awareness of safety and hygiene standards, including handling allergens, cleaning agents, and industrial equipment. Due to the nature of the restaurant industry, the position demands flexibility to work varied shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and travel requirements for work-related training or functions.

Beyond operational duties, the Growth Assistant Restaurant Leader is expected to be a problem solver, planner, and communicator who can work both independently and in a team setting. Proficiency in common office software like Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, alongside the ability to adapt to new technology systems, is important. This role is built for a self-driven, energetic leader with strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills who thrives in a fast-changing, priority-rich work environment.

Joining Raising Cane's means becoming part of a company that provides comprehensive benefits to full-time restaurant managers including medical, dental, vision, pharmacy benefits, flexible spending accounts for dependent care and healthcare, life and disability insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match for employees aged 21 and up. Additional perks include financial advisory services, gym memberships, tuition reimbursement, assistance programs for crewmembers, pet insurance, weekly pay, paid time off, sick time, holiday pay, casual work attire, and employee discount programs. Raising Cane's commitment to its team is reflected in the rewards and support they offer, encouraging a positive and productive workplace.
