Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum one year receptionist or social service experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Must maintain confidentiality
- At least one year of sobriety
- Ability to handle clients with mental illness and substance abuse issues
- Ability to perform light physical work including walking up stairs and lifting up to 25 pounds
- Willingness to adhere to all Salvation Army policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least one year of receptionist or social service experience preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as a team member
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to be a self-starter
- Positive attitude and flexibility in changing job situations and priorities
- At least one-year sobriety required
- Supportive of The Salvation Army mission
Job Duties
- Assume general receptionist responsibility for the Outpatient Clinic during evening hours
- Inform therapists when patients arrive for scheduled appointments
- Maintain waiting room order and manage patient admissions when the entrance door is locked
- Relay telephone and other messages to specific staff members
- File, pull and maintain records
- List groups and set up rooms for group meetings
- Perform general data entry of client and billing information into Excel spreadsheets for reporting purposes
- Provide additional receptionist coverage at the Harbor Light Residential desk as needed
- Perform cleaning and upkeep duties of the Outpatient Clinic
- Carry out other duties as assigned
