This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to join a professional hotel environment with both full-time and part-time positions available. The hotel offers great starting wages, flexible schedules to accommodate different needs, and a comprehensive benefits package including vision, dental, and medical insurance, hotel discounts, and up to 15 paid time off days within the first year of employment (including PTO for part-time employees).
The Night Auditor role is a crucial position within the hotel’s operations team, responsible for balancing and reconciling all hotel cashier transactions and preparing accurate financial reports that guide management decisions. This role combines important accounting duties with guest services responsibilities, requiring a candidate who can perform detailed financial tasks while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
The Night Auditor is tasked with reviewing, organizing, and assembling management reports in a timely fashion, ensuring that guest billings and city ledger transactions are accurate. These duties include guest check-in and check-out procedures, managing reservations, and handling switchboard operations.
Candidates for this position should have a minimum of a high school diploma or an equivalent credential, along with at least one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related hospitality field. The role requires flexibility with late-night working hours, as well as physical capability to perform sedentary work with occasional light lifting.
