The role available at Residence Inn by Marriott is a part-time, non-management position based at 1231 17th St, Miami Beach, Florida. It requires availability for overnight shifts, with a preference for weekend availability as well. The successful candidate will engage in a variety of end-of-day and overnight duties, including processing all payment types, managing room assignments, and performing financial audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards. Key responsibilities include completing end-of-day activities such as posting charges and running nightly audit backups, processing payments across various methods including cash and credit, managing adjustment and correction vouchers, and ensuring emergency preparedness by printing contingency guest lists. The role also involves actively selling rooms without reservations based on availability, handling telephone switchboard operations, processing guest check-ins efficiently, and managing room key activations. In addition to financial tasks like balancing and securing the bank, this position ensures the cleanliness and organization of work areas, supports safety protocols by reporting incidents, and upholds company policies and guest service standards.
