This listing seeks a highly motivated Night Auditor to join the Front Desk team at the Boston Marriott Burlington. This full-time position is critical to maintaining smooth overnight hotel operations, typically covering the hours from 11pm to 7am. The Night Auditor plays a vital role as the first and last point of contact for guests during these hours, providing not just check-in and registration services, but also offering detailed information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and responding to guest needs with a warm, engaging personality.

The Night Auditor ensures a seamless guest experience by accurately handling guest accounts, processing financial transactions, producing reports, and upholding all night audit procedures with great attention to detail. Apart from administrative responsibilities, the role requires strong problem-solving skills to recover from guest concerns and enhance their overall stay. Job Duties

  • Help guests discover their wanderlust experience
  • Provide exceptional customer service by being engaging and taking sincere interest
  • Check guests in ensuring proper credit is received special requests are noted and fulfilled and accurate information is established
  • Help to resolve problems and wow guests through recovery when things aren’t quite right
  • Promote and sell special hotel programs
  • Interact with hotel resort staff in a professional manner assisting other departments with necessary information
  • Be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and policies
  • Maintain house bank
  • Generate print and distribute daily and weekly reports
  • Ensure the night audit procedures are followed with great attention to detail
  • Communicate all pertinent information to manager on duty
  • Follow set procedures on posting charges cashing checks safe deposits and refunds
  • Assist other departments as needed
