The role of Guest Service Representative at Schulte Hospitality Group is a dynamic, service-oriented position focused on ensuring a superior guest experience from arrival through departure. This role requires a friendly and approachable demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of front desk operations. The Guest Service Representative is responsible for greeting guests with enthusiasm and personal recognition, managing daily arrival lists, preparing welcome amenities, and escorting VIP guests to their rooms. Additional responsibilities include answering guest inquiries courteously and efficiently, handling cash and bank procedures accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized front desk area. This role also involves complying with procedures for guest data privacy and managing check-in and check-out processes meticulously. As part of the team at SHG, the Guest Service Representative actively contributes to creating an inviting lobby atmosphere and supports other front-of-house activities as needed.

Job Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year in front desk operations
- in-depth knowledge of hotel front desk operations
- minimum of high school education

Job Duties
- Greets guests as they arrive, focus on personal recognition
- reviews arrival lists daily and assists in preparing and assembling welcome amenities
- escort VIPs to room and check them in prior to arrival
- answer the telephone within three rings with a smile and answer questions accordingly or transfer as needed
- responsible for issued bank. Count bank at beginning and end of shift. Ensure that all cash drops are done in accordance to with proper cash handling procedures and report all cash over/ short to management
- keep front desk area clean and organized
- assisting with lobby activation as needed
- utilize proper procedures when handling guest PPI data
- follow checklist when going through check in or check out with guest. Always retrieve necessary identification documents and form of payment upon arrival
- attends promptly to guest needs and inquiries
- perform various other duties as assigned
