Job Requirements

  • Minimum two year college degree
  • Experience in a similar leadership role
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Capable of lifting up to 10 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally with assistance
  • Familiarity with company policies, SOPs, and operational procedures
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to handle guest complaints and emergencies calmly
  • Proficiency in relevant hotel management software
  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, and use hands frequently during shifts

Job Duties

  • Perform all duties at the Front Desk as necessary
  • Supervise all areas of the Front Office in the absence of the Front Office or Assistant Front Office Manager
  • Empower employees to provide excellent customer service
  • Observe service behaviors of employees and provide feedback
  • Manage department operations to achieve or exceed financial goals
  • Supervise selling procedures to maximize room revenue and control occupancy
  • Oversee daily Front Desk shift operations ensuring policy compliance
  • Supervise completion of Night Audit tasks and daily report backups
  • Ensure accurate balancing and distribution of daily gross revenue reports
  • Handle emergencies according to procedures
  • Respond to and resolve guest problems and complaints
  • Set a positive example for guest relations
  • Obtain customer feedback on service levels and product quality
  • Communicate service expectations to employees and assist with coaching
  • Participate in departmental and leadership meetings
  • Enforce company handbook, SOPs, and processes consistently
  • Assist in employee interviewing and hiring
  • Support employee orientation and training
  • Promote teamwork and associate morale
  • Work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned
