The Overnight Night Crew position at QuickChek is a critical role designed to maintain the quality and efficiency of the store during the overnight hours. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service by quickly and confidently handling customer needs and concerns while ensuring the store is well-stocked with fresh, high-quality food products. Employees in this position will be cross-trained across multiple departments including deli, café, bakery, and cashier responsibilities, allowing them to manage a variety of tasks effectively. The night crew member is expected to lead by example, supporting and training teammates, keeping shift objectives on track, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized store environment both inside and out. Maintaining compliance with policies related to cash handling, lottery sales, loss prevention, and fuel operations is essential for this role.
This position offers competitive pay ranging from $16.25 to $16.75 per hour, with an additional overnight differential of $0.75 per hour for shifts between 10 PM and 6 AM. Employees also benefit from pay-on-demand options for quick access to earned wages, weekly pay cycles starting on Saturday and ending on Friday, flexible scheduling options with shifts ranging from 4 to 8 hours and up to five shifts per week, and a part-time role designed for stability and longevity. The position also emphasizes a positive, customer-first mindset, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to stay organized and self-motivated in a fast-paced setting. Prior experience in cashier or food and beverage roles is preferred but not required.
