The Field Safety Manager role at EPCS is a critical leadership position within the construction safety management team. This role involves leading and promoting safe work practices across active construction projects, specifically within the electric transmission and distribution (ET&D) or high voltage construction sectors. The Field Safety Manager will develop, implement, and maintain project-specific safety plans, conduct site safety observations and audits, and deliver safety training to ensure continuous improvement in safety performance. The Field Safety Manager must bring a strong set of leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to effectively influence safe practices in complex work environments. The role also involves ensuring that all safety training, including OSHA 30, First Aid, CPR, and AED, is current and that certifications such as the Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) are either held or pursued. The position is subject to client-mandated drug testing, background checks, and compliance with company auto insurance policies.
