The company's reputation is built on a commitment to quality, customer service, and continuous innovation in protein manufacturing. With a strong focus on excellence and customer satisfaction, Schweid & Sons has positioned itself as a trusted partner within the food industry, delivering exceptional products that meet the evolving needs of its diverse clientele. As a family-operated business, Schweid & Sons emphasizes values such as trust, respect, passion, innovation, and pride, fostering a collaborative culture where employees can contribute ideas and grow professionally. It is a company that equally values its workforce and its product, making it an attractive employer for driven professionals seeking to make an impact in the foodservice sector.
The position of National Account Manager - Foodservice offers a remote work opportunity within Schweid & Sons, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Corporate Accounts. This role is designed for a highly motivated and commercially focused sales professional responsible for driving profitable growth through the development, management, and expansion of strategic foodservice accounts nationwide. The primary focus is on acquiring and growing national multi-unit foodservice accounts by leveraging deep industry knowledge of the foodservice supply chain, including manufacturers, distributors, and multi-unit operators. The National Account Manager serves as a strategic business partner to customers, identifying growth opportunities while aligning customer needs with Schweid & Sons' business objectives. Key responsibilities include strategic account management, new business development, consultative selling, and cross-functional collaboration across marketing, operations, supply chain, finance, R&D, customer service, and quality assurance teams. The role demands a blend of relationship-building skills, strategic selling capabilities, business planning acumen, and negotiation expertise.
The candidate must have strong communication and presentation skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools such as Salesforce. Travel is a significant aspect of this role, with an expectation of approximately 40% travel for customer meetings, trade shows, industry events, and plant visits. The position offers a competitive compensation package with an expected salary range of $140,000 to $175,000 per year depending on experience and qualifications, along with a bonus incentive program and comprehensive benefits such as medical, vision, dental, and retirement plans. Schweid & Sons fosters a culture that values innovation, creativity, accountability, and results-driven performance, making this role ideal for an entrepreneurial, self-motivated sales professional passionate about the foodservice industry and eager to contribute to the company's continued growth and success.
