The Multi Unit Restaurant Manager role is a pivotal leadership position within Dunkin's franchise operations. Reporting to the Franchisee, District Manager, or Director of Operations, the Multi Unit Leader (MUL) is responsible for overseeing the successful operation of approximately 5-8 restaurant locations. The Multi Unit Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Managers by providing coaching, training, and leadership, ensuring that each outlet meets the company's brand operational standards, food safety regulations, and delivers exceptional guest service. In addition to daily operational oversight, this role involves analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, understanding local market dynamics including competitor activities, and setting sales and service goals in collaboration with franchise owners and restaurant managers. Effective communication and team motivation are essential as the Multi Unit Leader leads team meetings, facilitates training on marketing initiatives, and ensures the successful execution of product launches and new processes.

Beyond operational responsibilities, the Multi Unit Restaurant Manager plays a critical role in talent development. This involves recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and mentoring restaurant managers, along with ongoing performance management to align the team with company goals and standards. Successful candidates should possess solid computer skills, fluency in spoken and written English, and a good understanding of basic math and financial management principles.
