Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 2 years experience in maintenance or equipment repair
  • solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • physical ability to lift over 50 pounds and work in confined or elevated spaces
  • reliable transportation and willingness to travel between store locations
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to manage time effectively and work independently

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in general maintenance or equipment repair preferably in the food service industry
  • solid working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • ability to lift 50 pounds or more and work on ladders or in tight spaces
  • reliable transportation and ability to travel between store locations
  • good communication and time management skills
  • self-motivated and able to work independently

Job Duties

  • Respond to maintenance requests submitted by store managers
  • repair and maintain restaurant equipment such as toasters, ovens, refrigerators, soda machines, etc
  • troubleshoot and fix plumbing, minor electrical, lighting, and general building issues
  • research and purchase replacement parts, tools, and supplies with approval
  • track all requests and completions via maintenance request system
  • submit weekly summary reports to owner with cost and status updates
  • coordinate with outside vendors when specialty repair is needed
  • monitor supply stock levels for tools and consumables
