Job Requirements

Must have a valid driver’s license
Must have reliable transportation
Must not pose a direct threat to safety and health of self or others
Able to read and follow instructions, warnings, procedures
Able to communicate effectively orally and in writing
Must be available to work evenings and weekends
Able to follow company policies and procedures
Work in various body positions to complete tasks
Able to travel up and down 3 flights of stairs during work day transporting up to 80 pounds
Possess excellent customer service skills
Able to maintain professional appearance
Must be able to kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, push or pull up to 80 pounds
Able to maintain mobility in adverse conditions (rain, snow, heat, cold)
Must be able to communicate effectively using a cell phone and computer
Able to climb stairs multiple times daily while transporting items

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in property maintenance or cleaning preferred
Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools
Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
Effective communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver’s license
Reliable transportation
Strong customer service skills
Physical ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds

Job Duties

Conduct all business in accordance with Company policies and procedures, OSHA, ADA, Fair Housing Act, applicable Landlord/Tenant Act, State, local and Federal laws
Keep all common areas tidy and free from debris
Dust and clean furniture, equipment, walls, etc. in all common areas
Sweep, vacuum and mop floors
Empty trash cans, service restrooms and wipe down communal surfaces
Replenish supplies in all common areas
Walk the grounds and common interior areas daily, removing litter and debris from lawns, planting beds, parking areas, sidewalks, etc.
Know the emergency procedures for the property, including location and use of water and gas shutoff valves and access to sewer cleanouts and fuse panels
Promote safety awareness to limit property loss and damage or injury
Adhere to all property policies and procedures
Pressure wash sidewalks and buildings as needed
Assist in snow removal
Mix and dispose of cleaning solutions appropriately
Ensure safe and sanitary storage and care of cleaning products
Check common area and exterior lighting regularly, change non-working bulbs
Maintain awareness of community condition, pick up trash, clean areas, and report unsafe conditions
Assist in preparing units by removing trash from vacant apartments
Perform additional tasks requested by management
