Connected to the expanded Baird Center, Hilton Milwaukee boasts upscale guest rooms, event spaces, and a grand lobby that reflect an artful blend of classic charm and contemporary comfort. This hotel is a proud division of The Marcus Corporation, a company renowned for more than 60 years of excellence in hospitality with a portfolio of 15 unique hotels and resorts across the United States. Known for its commitment to operational and service excellence, the corporation embodies the philosophy of “People Pleasing People,” focused on creating extraordinary experiences for both guests and associates. Within this prestigious setting is the Monarch Lounge, an upscale bar located in the hotel lobby, designed to evoke the stylish ambiance of the 1920s art-deco era. Guests frequent the Monarch Lounge to relax, socialize, and enjoy a carefully curated selection of craft cocktails, wines, and local beers in a comfortable yet elegant atmosphere.

Meticulous attention to health and safety regulations, including state, federal, and corporate liquor laws, is essential to ensure the responsible service of alcoholic beverages. Additional responsibilities include handling cash transactions accurately, performing routine cleaning duties, and assisting with guest security and service needs as required. The successful candidate will bring at least two years of bartending experience in a fine dining setting, possess advanced knowledge of wines, spirits, and beers, and have key certifications such as a bartending certificate and TIPS certification. They must exhibit excellent communication skills, basic math proficiency, and manual dexterity necessary for effectively mixing drinks and managing bar equipment.

Employees also receive free parking, “two for one” movie coupons at Marcus Theatres, early wage access, and paid time off. Medical, dental, and vision insurance become available after 30 days of employment, complemented by company-paid life insurance, an employee assistance program, and a 401k plan with employer match. This role not only offers a competitive salary and benefits but also the opportunity to grow and transfer within the Marcus Corporation's extensive hotel network, fostering a rewarding and dynamic career path in hospitality.
