Job Description

T-Mobile USA, Inc. is a leading wireless network operator known for transforming the telecommunications industry with its innovative Un-carrier approach. As one of the largest mobile carriers in the United States, T-Mobile prides itself on delivering outstanding customer service, progressive employment practices, and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support its employees holistically. The company fosters an inclusive culture that values diversity, equity, and continuous growth, emphasizing a collaborative environment where employees can flourish. T-Mobile’s Total Rewards Package exemplifies its commitment to its workforce by offering competitive base salaries, annual stock grants, employee stock purchase plans, a 401(k) plan, and access to financial coaching, empowering employees to build wealth and secure their futures. The organization’s dedication to the employee experience is evident through its robust benefits options, work-life balance support, career development opportunities, and an engaging retail environment that encourages personal and professional advancement.

The Mobile Associate, Store-in-Store (SiS) role at T-Mobile is a vital position within its retail team, tasked with elevating the brand presence inside national sales partner retail locations. The Mobile Associate serves as the face of T-Mobile in highly trafficked partner stores, engaging directly with customers by communicating the value and innovation of T-Mobile’s extensive product and service portfolio. This role requires exceptional interpersonal skills and a passion for technology to create excitement and energy around T-Mobile's offerings. Mobile Associates act as brand ambassadors who connect meaningfully with customers, assessing their individual needs through consultative selling techniques and demonstrating tailored wireless solutions. They partner closely with nearby store leadership to ensure a seamless onboarding experience, device support, and account servicing, contributing to customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.

The job emphasizes the importance of digital engagement, where Mobile Associates consistently use T-Mobile's digital self-serve tools to empower customers in managing their wireless needs through the T-Mobile app. This role also involves active participation in T-Mobile’s ongoing training programs, including gaining expertise in new products, processes, and customer interaction techniques, which allows associates to continually refine their skills and stay customer-ready. The Mobile Associate is responsible for operational tasks within the store-in-store kiosk, including opening and closing procedures, securing assets, and supporting daily store functions. Success in this role is measured by meeting or exceeding sales targets, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and adhering to quality of sale standards.

Starting with an hourly base pay of $18.00 plus $5.00 per hour training pay within the first 90 days, Mobile Associates are positioned for growth upon completion of training, with promotional opportunities to Mobile Expert roles that come with annualized incentives and stock grants. The company guarantees total hourly earnings of $20 inclusive of base and incentive pay. T-Mobile’s inclusive and transformative culture makes it an excellent opportunity for candidates passionate about sales, technology, and customer service to build a career in a dynamic retail environment. Furthermore, T-Mobile offers a wide range of benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance; paid time off and holidays; parental and family leave; tuition assistance; and various voluntary insurance coverages, reinforcing its commitment to employee wellbeing and development. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are customer-obsessed, thrive in fast-paced settings, and aim to grow professionally within a supportive and forward-thinking company.
