The role available is for a Beverage Specialist/Bartender, requiring a thorough knowledge of mixology and the ability to prepare a wide variety of beverages to the highest standards. As a crucial member of the lounge serving team, the Beverage Specialist is expected to recognize and correctly prepare drinks, adhering strictly to recipes and measured pouring portions, with the appropriate garnish, glassware, and wine service. The role demands familiarity with operating and cleaning diverse beverage-related equipment such as frozen beverage machines, dishwashers, ice machines, and pouring guns. This position is designed for someone who can handle a high-volume bar environment efficiently while ensuring the highest quality service to guests.
The Beverage Specialist will possess extensive knowledge of all menu items, including food and drink daily specials, and must be capable of delivering food service at the same high level as the dining room staff. Compliance with alcohol laws and procedures is mandatory, as is the maintenance of a clean and well-organized bar area at all times. Additionally, this position involves completing side work, cleaning, and stocking duties promptly and accurately. A key aspect of this role is the ability to build and create craft cocktails with precision and flair, demonstrating showmanship in beverage presentation. A comprehensive understanding of garnishes, including the ability to create complex garnishes for drink presentations, is necessary.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum six months bartending experience in high volume front bar, service bar, or fine dining
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of cocktail recipes
- Extensive wine and craft beer knowledge
- Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to obtain and maintain required licenses and certifications
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum six months experience bartending in high volume front bar, service bar, or fine dining environment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Extensive cocktail recipe knowledge
- Extensive wine and craft beer knowledge
- Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 25 pounds
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses and/or certifications
Job Duties
- Recognize and correctly make a variety of beverages adhering to recipes and measured pouring portions with appropriate garnish and proper glassware
- Operate and clean various beverage equipment including frozen beverage machine, dishwasher, ice machine, pouring gun
- Complete knowledge of all food and beverage menu items and daily specials
- Understand and meet sequence requirements for Beverage Specialist position and Lounge Serving Team
- Provide food service at the same high level as dining room staff
- Comply with and enforce alcohol awareness laws and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized bar at all times
- Complete side work, cleaning, and stocking duties efficiently and timely
- Build and create craft cocktails to exact specifications with showmanship
- Create complex garnishes and properly utilize in drink presentations
- Communicate effectively with guests, memorize and repeat scripted dialogue
- Upsell food and beverages to enhance guest experience
- Perform cash settlement of bar checks following cash handling policies
- Perform all duties as directed by supervisor or manager
