With over 100 years of history and a family-owned foundation, Delaware North exemplifies a strong commitment to innovation, quality, and service excellence. The company operates in iconic venues such as sports arenas, national parks, and casinos, providing unique work environments that blend excitement with professional growth opportunities. At its core, Delaware North values its employees and strives to cultivate a workplace where team members feel valued, supported, and empowered to achieve their career aspirations.
One of the signature venues managed by Delaware North is Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan—a premier 20,000-seat multi-purpose arena that opened in 2017. This iconic sports and entertainment complex is home to the NHL's Detroit Red Wings and the NBA's Detroit Pistons, offering a blend of premium dining and concession services operated by Delaware North’s expert teams. The company takes pride in delivering world-class food, beverage, and retail experiences tailored to sports fans and event attendees, ensuring every visit is memorable.
Delaware North is currently hiring seasonal Servers for its operations at Little Caesars Arena. As a Server, you will be the face of our restaurant, playing a vital role in creating exceptional dining experiences for guests. This position is a tipped role, where the base hourly wage is $5.60, excluding potential earnings from tips. The shifts primarily cover evenings and weekends, catering to the dynamic crowds attending games and events at the arena.
The Server role at Delaware North is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments, with a passion for guest service and teamwork. Your main responsibilities will include greeting guests warmly, presenting menus, explaining daily specials, taking accurate food and beverage orders, and ensuring efficient delivery of these items. Accurate use of point-of-sale systems is essential, as is responsibly serving alcoholic beverages by adhering to all age verification and alcohol service policies. You will also handle guest checkouts, collaborate with fellow servers, kitchen, and bar staff, and participate in opening, closing, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the restaurant workspace.
At Delaware North, the well-being of team members is a priority. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to provide security, comfort, and opportunities for personal and professional growth. Benefits include weekly pay, training and development programs, flexible work schedules, and employee discounts. Eligible employees may also access health, dental, and vision insurance options, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid vacation and holidays, parental bonding leave, an employee assistance program, and tuition or professional certification reimbursements.
This role does not strictly require a high school diploma or GED, making it accessible to a wide range of applicants. However, having at least one year of experience serving in a high-volume hospitality environment and familiarity with point-of-sale systems is preferred. Physically, the job demands continuous standing, walking, bending, reaching, and the ability to lift and balance trays weighing up to 35 pounds. Candidates should be comfortable with the active and engaging nature of a server position in a busy sporting arena.
Joining Delaware North means becoming part of a global legacy committed to creating great times in great places, from sports stadiums to stunning national parks. The company’s inclusive culture supports equal opportunity for all applicants, regardless of race, color, religion, gender identity, age, or other legally protected statuses. If you are passionate about hospitality and eager for a rewarding seasonal role with potential for growth, Delaware North welcomes your application to become part of their team at Little Caesars Arena.
