Job Description
Suncore Construction & Materials is a well-established company specializing in the supply and delivery of construction materials with a focus on ready-mixed concrete. With a strong reputation for reliability and quality in the construction industry, Suncore serves a diverse range of customers including construction companies, contractors, and municipal projects. Their commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction makes them a preferred partner for concrete solutions. The company culture at Suncore emphasizes employee well-being, professional growth, and a safe working environment, making it an attractive workplace for those seeking a long-term career in construction and logistics sectors.
Join Suncore Construction & Materials as a Mixer Driver and take the next step in your professional journey by becoming an integral part of a company dedicated to excellence and safety. This role is designed for individuals holding a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) who take pride in operating heavy machinery responsibly while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service. As a Mixer Driver at Suncore, your primary responsibility will be to operate ready mix trucks to deliver concrete to various job sites on time and according to the specifications outlined on delivery tickets. You will ensure that every delivery meets precise quality and timing standards, playing a critical role in the success of construction projects.
The position offers competitive pay, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for profit sharing, reflecting Suncore's commitment to rewarding its workforce. Employees enjoy paid time off, including nine paid holidays and accruable PTO, as well as access to medical, dental, and vision insurance plans with generous Health Savings Account (HSA) contributions. In addition to standard benefits, Suncore supports employee well-being through access to mental health services and paid pregnancy and parental leave. Weekly pay cycles provide financial convenience, enabling employees to manage their earnings efficiently.
Safety is paramount in this role, requiring meticulous pre- and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to ensure optimal vehicle performance and compliance with all regulatory standards. The Mixer Driver is expected to maintain a clean driving record, adhere strictly to traffic laws, and perform duties with an unwavering commitment to safety practices. Physical requirements include the ability to sit for extended periods and lift up to 65 pounds without assistance, underscoring the role's demands on both endurance and strength.
Suncore values diversity and inclusivity, operating as an Equal Opportunity Employer and a drug-free workplace. Current employees applying for this role must inform their supervisors, aligning with company policies. If you are an individual who prioritizes safety, quality, and professionalism, and you hold the necessary CDL credentials, the Mixer Driver position at Suncore Construction & Materials offers a rewarding career path with ample opportunities for personal and professional growth.
