Job Description

BURNCO Rock Products is a distinguished construction materials business with a legacy of superb service and performance spanning over a century. Founded in 1912 and based in Calgary, the company has grown steadily by embracing innovative technology and expanding into new marketplaces while upholding the core vision and values established by its founder, James F. Burns. As a family-run enterprise, BURNCO emphasizes safety, family leadership, and dependable growth, making it a trusted name in the construction materials industry. Their product offerings include aggregate construction materials, and they operate Ready-Mix and Aggregate Plants throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, creating numerous opportunities for career development and advancement. BURNCO prioritizes employee well-being and offers a comprehensive benefits package, making it an attractive employer for professionals in the construction and transportation sectors.

The role of a BURNCO Texas Mixer Driver is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and a passion for driving within the construction materials industry. This full-time position supports the company's operations by ensuring the timely and safe delivery of Ready-Mix concrete, crucial for construction projects in both urban and rural settings. As a valued member of BURNCO's professional driving team, employees benefit from competitive wages complemented by increases, bonuses for load deliveries and zero accidents, and a robust benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, among other perks.

A career as a BURNCO Texas Mixer Driver not only offers financial rewards and job security but also provides an enviable lifestyle. Drivers enjoy a consistent six-day workweek with the opportunity to be home every night, allowing quality time with their families. Additionally, the company offers holiday, vacation, bereavement, and jury duty pay without waiting periods, along with inclement weather pay to ensure that employees are compensated fairly regardless of the conditions. With a focus on safety, BURNCO supports its drivers by providing safety boots and glasses through an annual voucher program and maintaining a company culture centered around teamwork, compliance, and professional development.

The position requires a commitment to safety protocols and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) and company-specific requirements. Drivers will be responsible for operating the mixer trucks efficiently while adhering to maintenance checks and cleanliness standards. The role demands flexibility, as drivers may be required to work irregular hours, including Saturdays, and potentially at different BURNCO plants depending on business needs. Candidates should be prepared to pass necessary background checks, drug and alcohol tests, and physical assessments, demonstrating the company's dedication to maintaining a safe and reliable workforce.

Joining BURNCO means becoming part of a rock-solid employer with a proven record of success that continues to grow. Employees are encouraged to build their careers in an environment that values safety, customer service, and teamwork, backed by a company that honors its heritage and looks forward to a future of continued excellence. If you have a Class A or B CDL and the desire to thrive in a dynamic and rewarding driving career, BURNCO invites you to apply and begin your journey with a reputable leader in the construction materials industry.
