Job Requirements
- Grade school level
- High school diploma or GED a plus
- 1-2 years experience operating or working with food manufacturing machinery equipment or similar
- 1-2 years experience following work task specifications, SOPs, recipes, etc
- Proficient communication skills both verbal and written
- Proficient in basic math skills and calculator use
- Basic computer skills
- Proficient analytical skills
- Proficient problem-solving skills
- Ability to train, coach, and motivate co-workers
- Must be a team player
- Self-motivated and able to initiate action to correct deficiencies
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand during prolonged periods

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Perform tasks according to safety and food safety standards
- Participate in safety training and contribute to safety initiatives
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies related to food safety and sanitation
- Report equipment malfunctions and ensure preventive maintenance is effective
- Follow production schedule and complete efficient product changeovers
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Prepare batches following recipes and product specifications
- Verify ingredients and scan using RF gun before mixing
- Coordinate with machine operators for product consistency
- Monitor temperature, pressure, appearance, and physical changes during mixing
- Maintain waste standards and report deficiencies promptly
- Document and report mixing process data in ERP system
- Prepare and maintain grinder and mixer equipment
- Change grinder stones and preservative tanks as scheduled
- Inspect and verify quality of raw materials
- Ensure compliance with FIFO inventory program
- Monitor and meet machinery performance standards
- Communicate effectively with team members and machine operators
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Maintain mixing room organized and audit ready
- Comply with all SQF and company rules and policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
