Job Description

Inflow is a distinguished national security services firm dedicated to supporting the Department of Defense and other government agencies with elite talent and advanced technological solutions. The company focuses on delivering critical advisory and assistance services that underpin strategic operations and vital national security missions. Known for its commitment to excellence, Inflow fosters a collaborative culture that empowers its employees, whom they refer to as Inflowees, to contribute meaningfully to the defense sector and offers ongoing professional development and innovative benefits to nurture growth and satisfaction within the workforce.

The position available is for a Mission Planning Support / JMPS Administrator, based at Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana. This role is integral to the Standoff Munitions Application Center (SMAC) under the Joint-Global Strike Operations Center (J-GSOC). The incumbent will provide essential support to United States Air Force global strike operations by managing and administering the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS). The job is full-time, on-site, and requires an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance, reflecting the sensitive nature of the responsibilities involved. While primarily based in CONUS (Continental United States) at Barksdale AFB, there is the possibility of travel both within CONUS and OCONUS (Outside Continental United States).

This role requires expertise in installing, maintaining, securing, and troubleshooting the JMPS mission planning systems, a critical tool that ensures the success and safety of global strike missions. The administrator will oversee software updates, hardware configurations, and ensure Authorization to Operate (ATO) compliance, guaranteeing that the systems meet stringent cybersecurity standards. Coordination with support staff and government representatives is essential to maintaining accurate inventories and smooth operational continuity.

Moreover, the Mission Planning Support / JMPS Administrator serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), delivering advanced training and comprehensive documentation to end-users, thus enhancing user proficiency and mission readiness. The position also necessitates experience in administering Windows and Linux environments, servers, and virtualized systems such as VMware, Nutanix, and Citrix. Advanced system diagnostics, performance tuning, system imaging, remote access, and PXE boot deployment fall under the duties, signifying the need for high technical acuity.

Candidates must possess a minimum Associate's degree or equivalent experience and hold an IAT Level II Certification in accordance with DoD Directive 8570.01 standards. Additionally, a solid background of at least five years in Air Force Specialty Codes (AFSC) 3D1X or 3D0X, or equivalent IT or engineering experience, is critical. Familiarity with Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPO), as well as network configuration and system hardening using Defense Information Systems Agency Security Technical Implementation Guides (DISA STIGs) is required to ensure that the systems comply with strict DoD cybersecurity mandates.

Joining Inflow means becoming part of a team that values its people as the greatest asset. Employees are provided with competitive benefits, ongoing opportunities for growth, and a supportive work environment that encourages innovation and dedication. Those interested in contributing to national security at a pivotal operational level will find this role both challenging and rewarding. This position offers the chance to impact critical global missions while developing specialized skills in mission planning and system administration within a top-tier national defense organization.
