Lockheed Martin is currently seeking a skilled professional to support the Metrology/Calibration Lab operations. This role involves a variety of activities that are crucial for the smooth functioning of the lab, including logistics, finance, purchasing, and maintaining database entries. The position requires meticulous attention to gathering, collecting, recording, tracking, and verifying data from diverse sources to ensure accuracy and reliability in reporting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for compiling, reviewing, and analyzing data while utilizing calibration databases and other specialized software tools to generate comprehensive reports, statistics, correspondences, and presentations. Enhancement of workflow processes through design input is also a key aspect of the position, alongside providing data and information on calibration lab procedures to other team members.
Coordination with outside vendors forms an important part of the responsibilities, in addition to managing purchase requests and processing invoicing through the company's P2P system. Job Duties
- perform a variety of activities in support of the metrology/calibration lab such as logistics, finance, purchasing and database entries
- gather, collect, record, track and verify data and information from multiple sources
- compile, review and analyze data
- use calibration database and other software to compile and generate reports, statistics, timeliness, correspondence and presentations
- help in design of processes to enhance workflow
- provide data and information to others on cal lab processes and procedures
- coordinate vendor services for outside vendors
- generate purchase requests and complete invoicing in p2p system
