The role being offered is primarily a customer-facing position located on the sales floor, combining responsibilities as a Merchandiser and Cashier. This position entails greeting customers warmly, helping them locate merchandise, or directing them to parts specialists for more technical inquiries. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the neatness and organization of the sales floor, including stocking, fronting merchandise according to planograms, and ensuring pricing and sale signage are accurately displayed. The employee will also act as a deterrent to shoplifting, performing front floor security duties to maintain a safe shopping environment.

In addition to merchandising, the role involves cashier duties, including processing customer purchases efficiently and accurately, handling returns, and assisting in busy checkout situations. The position requires good interpersonal communication skills, a strong aptitude for numbers, and an ability to organize effectively.
