The role of Store Team Member, referred to internally as Merchandiser, is integral to the smooth operation and customer satisfaction in each store. This position involves a flexible array of responsibilities ranging from merchandising and inventory management to sales support and customer interaction. Both part-time and full-time opportunities are available, focusing primarily on merchandising duties but also including sales, front-end, and other operational roles as assigned. The Store Team Member plays a pivotal role in maximizing product inventory by processing freight, organizing stock, building eye-catching displays, and placing appropriate signage to enhance the shopping environment. They additionally support digital business operations by fulfilling online orders, assisting with in-store and curbside pick-up, and potentially delivering purchases safely to customers.

Providing excellent, personalized customer service is a core aspect of the role. Team members greet customers warmly, engage to build lasting relationships, and share helpful product knowledge gained through ongoing training, including education on wine, spirits, and beer. This emphasis on product expertise helps team members better inform customers about available selections, promotions, and loyalty programs, enhancing the overall shopping experience.

Maintaining the store's appearance, safety standards, and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, particularly those related to the sale of alcohol, is another critical responsibility. The role demands physical stamina, as team members must be able to walk, stand, bend repeatedly, lift and handle product cases and pallets, and sometimes work in varying outdoor weather conditions. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, given the nature of the products sold.
