Job Requirements
- At least eighteen years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Professional in appearance and conduct
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum eighth-grade proficiency
- Positive and energetic attitude who loves residents
- Physically active requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after falls
- Criminal background clearance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at an eighth-grade level
- Positive and energetic attitude with a genuine love for working with residents
- Professional appearance and conduct
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to be active throughout the shift standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
- Capable of assisting residents with mobility and safety needs
Job Duties
- Be a keeper of the home responsible for creating a welcoming, comfortable, and tidy environment in memory care apartments and common areas
- Be a mealtime maven present in the dining room to prepare and serve family-style meals, involving residents in setting the tables and cleaning up
- Be a snack specialist ensuring residents receive snacks and hydration three times daily
- Be a caring connector engaging residents in meaningful experiences and providing support in the neighborhood
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and mobility needs including after falls
- Maintain cleanliness and order in all assigned areas
- Support fellow team members as needed to enrich residents' quality of life
