The role of the Club Concierge at this respected property is a dynamic and rewarding position designed to ensure seamless and personalized service for members and guests from their pre-arrival phase to departure. This full-time, non-management position is scheduled primarily during the day shift, with an emphasis on open and weekend availability to accommodate the needs of a luxury resort clientele. Offering a competitive pay rate of $23.62 per hour, the Concierge acts as the crucial liaison between the resort and its valued members, coordinating an array of services to deliver a flawless and memorable stay.
The Club Concierge's responsibilities include assisting members and guests through pre-arrival communications, confirming preferences, arranging amenities such as grocery and other orders, and facilitating smooth check-in and check-out procedures. This position involves handling on-site front office tasks including preparing arrival packets, managing billing processes, performing audit checklists, and coordinating welcome packages. The role also entails responding promptly and efficiently to special requests involving transportation, reservations, dry cleaning, and personalized arrangements, ensuring every unique need is fulfilled. Acting as a Lobby Ambassador, the Concierge plays an integral role in maintaining the welcoming and professional atmosphere that defines the Ritz Carlton experience.
Moreover, the Club Concierge collaborates closely with different departments such as engineering, housekeeping, and bell services to resolve guest requests and maintain the highest level of service. This role requires impeccable communication skills to handle calls, messages, and concerns, and the ability to document information accurately in the resort’s computer system and logbooks. Understanding and assisting with reservation services further enhances the Concierge’s capacity to deliver superior guest satisfaction.
Safety and professionalism are paramount in this role, with requirements to report incidents, maintain clean and professional personal appearance, and protect the privacy and assets of the company. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- at least 1 year of related work experience preferred
- previous club concierge experience preferred
- open availability including days and weekends
- ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- ability to lift, carry, or move objects up to 10 pounds
- strong communication skills
- ability to follow company policies and procedures
- commitment to professional appearance and confidentiality
