Job Description

The Ritz Carlton located at 13031 Ritz Carlton Highlands Ct, Truckee, California, is a prestigious luxury hotel known for delivering exceptional guest experiences through its commitment to outstanding service, elegant accommodations, and lavish amenities. The establishment is a part of the globally renowned Ritz Carlton brand, which maintains high standards for hospitality and customer care, making it a top choice for travelers who seek premium lodging and comprehensive guest services in beautiful natural surroundings. Positioned amidst scenic landscapes, the Truckee location offers visitors the perfect blend of tranquility and sophistication, with access to outdoor activities and exclusive experiences geared for discerning guests and members alike.

This full-time non-management role, based on a day shift schedule with weekend availability preferred, offers a competitive hourly wage of $23.62. The position is integral to the Rooms & Guest Services Operations category and entails providing personalized assistance to members and guests throughout their entire visit. As a Club Concierge, the hired individual will be responsible for facilitating a seamless pre-arrival process, managing check-ins and check-outs, organizing member activities and experiences, as well as efficiently resolving any issues that arise during a guest's stay.

Key responsibilities include conducting pre-arrival contacts to confirm member preferences and special requests such as grocery and amenity orders, logging these details accurately into the system, as well as making necessary arrangements to fulfill member expectations. Front office duties encompass preparing arrival packets and departure folios, processing billing transactions, performing audits, and distributing welcome packages to ensure a warm and professional welcome. The Concierge will serve as a vital point of contact for handling inquiries about hotel services, local attractions, transportation, and additional amenities such as dry cleaning or reservations to enhance the guest experience.

The role also requires effective communication and coordination with various hotel departments including housekeeping, engineering, and bell services to promptly meet guest needs and resolve any concerns. The Concierge will act as a Lobby Ambassador, maintaining shift logs, completing safety and quality assurance trainings, and adhering strictly to company policies and procedures to uphold the revered Ritz Carlton standards. Additionally, the position demands maintaining a professional appearance, protecting company assets, and ensuring confidentiality of private member and guest information at all times.

The ideal candidate brings at least one year of related experience, preferably with previous Club Concierge exposure, and embodies a customer service-oriented attitude combined with strong interpersonal skills. Exceptional organizational abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are critical for success. Furthermore, the ability to stand or walk for extended periods, independently handle light lifting, and manage multiple tasks under a fast-paced environment is essential. This career opportunity at The Ritz Carlton Truckee allows hospitality professionals to grow within a renowned luxury brand while delivering memorable service experiences to a distinguished clientele.
