We are looking for a skilled and proactive Project Manager for Meetings & Events to join our dynamic team. This remote position involves leading the end-to-end management of corporate meetings and events, including the coordination of timelines, logistics, and on-site execution, ensuring every detail meets the highest standards. The ideal candidate will be passionate about event planning, adept at managing client relationships, and experienced in vendor negotiation and budget management. This role requires approximately 40 percent domestic and international travel, including some weekends, to oversee event activities and maintain close client engagement.

As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in designing unique event programs, conducting destination research, and coordinating communications to support every phase of the event lifecycle. You will be responsible for vendor sourcing and contract negotiation, managing travel, transportation, and venue arrangements, and ensuring all aspects of the program specifications align with client expectations. Additionally, you will develop, track, and reconcile budgets and invoices, providing comprehensive reports on post-event outcomes to measure success and identify areas for improvement.

Job Requirements

  • Fully remote role requiring approximately 40 percent domestic and international travel including some weekends
  • Must have a valid passport
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Job Qualifications

  • CMP certification strongly preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of corporate meetings incentive planning and client management experience
  • Experience sourcing vendors negotiating contracts and managing hospitality travel operations preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Comfort with event tech and project management tools such as Cvent Slack and Monday.com
