Job Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in hospitality management event planning marketing or a related field
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with good eye for design
  • Proficient in microsoft office suite
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Passion for events and learning

Job Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in hospitality management event planning marketing or a related field
  • Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills demonstrating a customer-focused approach
  • Detail-oriented with a good eye for design ensuring the quality and consistency of all event materials
  • Proficient in microsoft office suite familiarity with event management software like cvent is a bonus
  • Self-motivated proactive and able to work both independently and in collaboration with a remote team
  • A genuine passion for events and a strong desire to learn and grow within the meetings and event planning sphere

Job Duties

  • Assist in coordinating logistics for meetings and events including selecting venues managing vendors and facilitating attendee registrations
  • Help create and distribute event materials such as invitations agendas and promotional materials
  • Support the production of virtual events including technology setup and troubleshooting as well as managing live streams
  • Conduct research on potential venues suppliers and entertainment options providing the team with informed recommendations
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to ensure smooth communication throughout the planning phases
  • Provide on-site assistance during events helping with setup attendee registration and logistical support
  • Assist in post-event follow-up including gathering feedback compiling metrics and drafting reports for clients
