The Meeting & Hospitality Planner role at Flik Hospitality Group is a highly responsible position centered around managing guest services within a busy conference center environment. The role commands strong leadership skills as it involves overseeing a team of coordinators and receptionists to ensure that every guest's needs are met promptly and with a high level of customer service. The planner is responsible for reservation management, assisting with event planning, and coordinating with various vendors and internal teams to facilitate seamless event execution. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in event planning or hospitality coordination
- Proven customer service experience
- Ability to manage a team of coordinators and receptionists
- Proficient in using reservation systems or similar software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Willingness to attend mandatory meetings and trainings
- Legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Duties
- Fulfill reservation requests using Reserve (Room Reservation System)
- Handle service inquiries for already booked conference rooms
- Be aware of event schedule and building activity
- Assist in preparing pre and post planning meeting files (estimates, diagrams, etc.)
- Conduct planning meetings in the absence of Event Coordinator
- Coordinate orders for additional/outsourced services
- Act as a liaison for event needs with vendors and other site entities
- Enforce policies and procedures related to reservations
- Attend mandatory meetings, trainings, events, and complete in-service curriculum requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Assist the Event planner with day-to-day activities and responsibilities as needed
- Oversee the day-to-day operation
- Cross train with staff
