CBRE is currently seeking a Meeting and Events Planner to join its Workplace Experience Host Team. This is a critical role within the organization focused on providing white glove hospitality and ensuring exceptional event execution for employees and clients. The Meeting and Events Planner will act as the primary liaison between clients and the events operations team, managing every aspect of event planning and delivery. This includes overseeing complex event logistics such as furniture and equipment configurations, audio-visual requirements, food and beverage service, transportation, and overall attendee experience.
The role demands strong project management capabilities as the planner will manage the master events calendar, coordinate communication among all stakeholders, conduct planning meetings, and maintain high standards of service delivery. Serving as the face of CBRE for many high-profile and large-scale events, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate sound judgement and a proactive approach to problem-solving to exceed client expectations. The Meeting and Events Planner will also be involved in vendor sourcing and quality assurance, event marketing support, and post-event reporting to ensure continuous process improvements.
Candidates should be comfortable interacting with a diverse range of people, showcasing a warm and engaging demeanor while possessing the analytical skills necessary to interpret complex documents and manage multiple priorities efficiently. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn new software applications are also necessary. This role offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $70,000 annually, with eligibility for discretionary bonuses based on company performance. Job Requirements

- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience and/or training
- Experience in corporate or conference center management preferred

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Serve as primary point of contact for high profile and/or large engagements
- Develop and communicate end-to-end complex event plans to ensure flawless execution
- Manage complex master meeting and events calendar
- Conduct communication and planning meetings with event staff
- Handle pre-event planning, greeting event hosts, and post-event reporting
- Source and coordinate vendors for catering, decor, entertainment, and giveaways
- Manage on-site logistics and escalate issues as necessary
