The Meeting & Events Manager position at CBRE is a vital leadership role within the Workplace Experience function, responsible for overseeing a dedicated team that manages meetings, events, and conference services for a premier CBRE client. This role is distinctly focused on operational leadership rather than marketing, requiring hands-on management of large-scale staff and client events. With a foundation in heavy event planning experience, the individual in this role ensures that meetings and events are executed flawlessly while providing exemplary customer service to employees, clients, and visitors in a designated building. Duties include setting work schedules, assigning tasks, managing budgets, approving purchase orders, and continually enhancing departmental processes to maximize efficiency and success. The role demands a high level of interpersonal communication skills to manage client relationships, resolve escalated issues, and lead the team through adherence to CBRE’s core values - Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence (RISE). Monitoring performance through SLAs, KPIs, and benchmarks, this manager will analyze reports and propose solutions to improve service delivery and operational outcomes. The ideal candidate combines leadership acumen, advanced organizational skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, and strong mathematical competence to perform financial calculations critical to budget management and event planning. This position offers a challenging yet rewarding career path at one of the world’s most respected real estate service leaders, committed to fostering professional growth and internal promotion after six months of demonstrated capability and contribution.
