The role of Meeting & Events Coordinator at Flik Hospitality Group is central to the smooth operation and success of various events and meetings held at client sites. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three years experience in a conference center or corporate environment preferred

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Assist with management of the shared mailbox including sorting incoming requests and processing reservations as required
- Respond to all e-mails and voicemails within 24 hours
- Set up appropriate auto-replies when out of the office
- Coordinate details for events as assigned
- Utilize effective and timely communication with internal departments such as Food & Beverage, Audio-Visual, Transportation, and Conference Floor to meet customer requests
- Communicate specific client needs to all relevant internal departments both in advance of and during the course of meetings
- Participate in scheduled team meetings to review upcoming events and discuss logistical matters
- Apply knowledge of property layout, policies, procedures, and center capabilities regarding meeting rooms and technology
- Make timely decisions to avoid disruption or negative impact on guest experience
- Assist with daily placement of room meeting signs
- Perform all job duties professionally and according to company policies
- Greet clients and visitors in the building, providing support as needed
- Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
