Job Description
Chateau Elan Winery & Resort, nestled in the scenic north Georgia foothills, began its journey in 1981 with the planting of its first vineyards. Since then, it has blossomed into a sprawling 3,500-acre luxury conference and leisure destination. Chateau Elan prides itself on delivering exceptional guest experiences through its high-quality products and outstanding service. The resort is renowned for its unique blend of natural beauty, fine wines, and luxurious amenities, which include exquisite dining options, spa services, golf courses, and retail outlets. It has garnered a reputation as a premier destination for both relaxation and business events, attracting visitors who seek a blend of elegance and comfort.
The success and growth of Chateau Elan are credited largely to its passionate and dedicated team of associates. The resort fosters an inclusive and encouraging work environment where associates are nurtured, trained, and valued, promoting a culture that emphasizes personality, energy, enthusiasm, and commitment. Employees benefit from various perks including discounted stays at hotel accommodations, spa services, golf, food and beverage, retail purchases, and participation in the YouDecide® discount program which offers additional savings on vacations, electronics, and more.
Chateau Elan is currently seeking an Assistant Banquet Manager to join its distinguished food and beverage team. This position is instrumental in supporting the Banquet Manager by assisting in the planning, coordination, and management of banquets and other food and beverage functions to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and quality service. The role involves overseeing group and event coordination, ensuring that all corporate, franchise, and regulatory policies are adhered to while also helping the resort meet or exceed its financial goals.
This position requires an individual with excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills who can interact effectively with guests, internal teams, and external clients. The Assistant Banquet Manager serves as the primary resource for events, handling everything from client meetings and event setups to timely responses to guest needs and troubleshooting any issues calmly and efficiently. Knowledge of applicable sales systems and advanced hotel operations is essential to the role.
Working at Chateau Elan offers not only the chance to be part of a prestigious hospitality brand but also provides a comprehensive benefits package designed to support physical, mental, and financial well-being. The company encourages candidates from diverse backgrounds, including U.S. military veterans, to apply and is committed to building an inclusive workforce where every associate can thrive and contribute to the resort's continued success.
