Labcorp is currently seeking a Technologist to join their team in Carmel, IN. This role operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm and is a key part of the laboratory's operations aimed at delivering high-quality and timely testing services to support patient care and clinical research. As a Technologist at Labcorp, you will be responsible for performing both routine and complex laboratory procedures in line with established departmental standards. You will evaluate specimens for testing eligibility, conduct technical testing procedures, monitor and troubleshoot laboratory instruments, and prepare new reagents or controls as needed. This position requires a keen eye for detail to ensure the accuracy of test results, which directly impacts the quality of patient care.

The role also includes important responsibilities like maintaining a safe laboratory environment by adhering to safety protocols and using personal protective equipment. Additionally, the technologist will be involved in preventative maintenance and quality control tasks to ensure the optimal functioning of laboratory equipment. Being an integral part of a high-volume laboratory, this position demands strong problem-solving skills to make technical decisions related to testing and the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
